The panel discussion Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence

Very sobering subject matter we should all know about
and use the Power of One to make changes.

Matilda Bay Rotary Club coordinated an excellent breakfast, program
and speakers at Yagan's Square this morning.
Great things are happening in the Aboriginal world and the message is
, engage more, earlier and often
. Dr Richard Walley provided a fantastic Welcome to Country
along with a short talk on the progress made but also on how much more
we can learn from their ancient culture.
District Governor Lindsay Dry presented Richard with a Paul Harris Fellow certificate and pin

On Monday 26th March members of our club were invited
to Rotary Club of Northam for a training session
focused on the Club Runner website,
and ways we can use technology more to connect
with members and the wider community.
Though some of the technology is a bit beyond most of us,
we are excited to see how we can use technology more moving forward

Jasmine Schmidt inspired us all talking about her experiences
at the National Youth Science Forum in January.
We are happy that our sponsorship helped her to go.

From the proceeds of our successful Bricktober 2017,
The Rotary Club of Ascot has donated
another two Brick PlayTubs,

These lucky kids will have fun with Lego while improving
their fine motor skills and developing their creativity and thinking skills.
